Join musical adventures from carnival to Scheherazade in our 2025/26 Season

Todmorden Orchestra is set to take audiences on a musical journey with our 2025-26 season, featuring classical masterpieces from across Europe.

The season opens on Saturday 22 November 2025 at 7.30pm with Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture, Lalo’s Symphonie Espagnole for Violin and Orchestra with up-and-coming soloist Georgina Bloomfield, and Dvořák’s Symphony No 8 – a work celebrated for its Czech folk influences and memorable melodies.

Music-making takes on a family-friendly focus with our Family Concert on Saturday 24 January 2026 at 4.00pm. Always a sell-out, this relaxed performance will include an engaging presenter, lots of interaction and an opportunity to introduce live classical music to young children. The performance will also involve members of the Music for the Many youth orchestra. Tickets will be available in December.

Spring brings another stellar evening on Saturday 21 March 2026, featuring Weber’s Der Freischütz Overture, the Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto, and Brahms’ monumental Symphony No.1.

The season concludes on Saturday 27 June 2026 with Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, with its tales of the Arabian Nights, alongside Glière’s Horn Concerto, performed by BBC Young Musician of the Year brass finalist, Claire Marsden.
