Todmorden is a town within the Metropolitan
Borough of Calderdale, in West Yorkshire, England. It forms part of the
Upper Calder Valley and has a total population of approx. 12,000.
Todmorden is located in the dramatic scenery of the South Pennines, the
town centre occupies the confluence of three steep sided valleys. Whether
you are looking for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and horse
riding, or just want to soak up the history of this once textile producing
mill town, Tod is a great place to visit.The Pennine Way, Calderdale Way
and Pennine Bridleway pass through the town but that's only the start. The
area is criss-crossed with great walks and mountain biking.
