Supporting the orchestra

Todmorden Orchestra welcomes sponsorship from businesses and individuals for concerts and soloists. Whilst our audiences are very loyal and appreciative, we need more help. Donations – large or small – are very welcome and help us to keep live music in Todmorden. Thanks to all patrons who came to our Autumn Concert 2007, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. In addition the orchestra operates a patrons scheme. We openly invite you to become a Patron. This will entitle you to 2 free tickets for each orchestral concert. As a Patron you will also be invited to open rehearsals where you can meet the players and take a more active interest in the orchestra, even if you are not a player. We hope that those who visited our recent open rehearsal on 30th of October 2007 enjoyed encountering the orchestra in a different setting. To become a Patron you will be asked to subscribe a minimum of £50 per year. This provides us with a regular income which allows us to plan further ahead in arranging future programmes.
